Towing Courses to help you gain your B+E entitlement
If you wish to be safely entitled to drive a vehicle and tow a trailer with a combined maximum authorised mass (MAM) of 3,500kg, we advise you to have additional training.
B+E courses are undertaken by our Instructor at our training facility. At NxtGen Driving Academy, our highly experienced commercial driving instructors know exactly what is required from you to meet the necessary driving standards and to make you feel confident towing.
Despite the DVSA announcing that on Monday 20th September you will not be required to sit a DVSA examined trailer test to gain the entitlement to tow a trailer or caravan, it has been advised that all drivers who have no experience to have some training with a qualified trainer to be sure you are safe and confident on the road.
Book yourself on a half day course (4 hours) and gain knowledge and confidence on towing a trailer safely!
We will show you the following:
- The Coupling and Uncoupling procedure.
- How to reverse safely.
- Give you hints and tips remain safe.
- Show you how to make sure your load is safely secured.
